Meeting Information 
The Old Dominion Chapter, NRHS is normally scheduled to meet on the 3rd Monday of every month.
Meetings are scheduled to begin promptly at 7:30 pm. We normally meet at the Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 W Broad Street, in Richmond, VA. This location is one in which we used to hold our regular monthly meetings. It was the former Broad Street Station, used by R F & P Railroad and then Amtrak as a main terminal in Richmond, until closure in 1975.
Meeting location is subject to change, so please check back with us if you plan on visiting one of our meetings (please come...we LOVE visitors!). Members normally receive notification concerning meeting location change via the Highball, our monthly publication. You can also call our chapter phone number, 231-4324 (Richmond) or 800-451-6318 (toll free in Virginia) and leave a message requesting confirmation of the meeting time and location. Monday, July 21, 2008: "North by Northeast." A slide show on the Northeast Corridor between the 1970's and 2005. A glimpse of changing trains, both passenger and freight, from our old favorites into the modern era.
FUTURE MEETINGS
Monday, August 18, 2008, Broad Street Station, 7:30 PM Program: "Richmond Bridges." Jeff Hawkins will present a digital format program featuring shots from his famous article in "Railpace" on Richmond bridges plus other photographs he has in his collection from central Virginia. We will need a special projector from someone in ODC for this program. You do not want to miss this excellent opportunity. Tell your friends too.
